Our History


Henley Offices Ltd was launched in 2001 to create a new genre of personal "workspaces" specifically for professionals who work at home.

The ground-breaking Compact Office range was launched in 2002, with VariSpace and MidiSpace models following in 2003. As the best selling range, Henleys now crop up all over the UK from Lands End to Argyll, from Great Yarmouth to Powys.

In late 2003, Henley opened their first showroom in London and in early 2004 the 100th Compact Office was produced. In early 2006 the business was re-structured as Henley Garden Buildings Ltd, albeit continuing to trade as Henley Offices.

In 2007, the revitalised company was contracted as a supplier to B&Q, an appointment reflecting both its professional approach and environmental principles. Meanwhile, the company delivered its first larger building, designed to a customer's specification.

In Spring 2008, Henley announced its 400th customer and in the summer achieved distribution with a further major multiple - The Home Retail, Argos-Homebase group - while still retaining its core ability to supply customers direct.
